Who we Seek La Casa de Don Pedro seeks a Driver who will support the Early Childhood Directors in assisting with the day-to-day administration and operations of Early Childhood Pillar. To be successful in this role, the Driver should be safety-driven, reliable, punctual, and energetic. The Driver will serve as an integral member of the Early Childhood Pillar and will contribute to the overall efficiency of La Casa de Don Pedro by providing personalized and timely support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport daily meals, utensils, and refreshments to childcare centers in accordance with the assigned schedule.
• Assist with the delivery of food supplies, educational materials, and other equipment as needed.
• Provide ongoing support to both the Janitorial and Kitchen Staff.
• Deliver inter-office mail to various locations.
• Drive in a safe manner following state, local, and federal regulations.
• Maintain vehicles to ensure that they are clean and fueled, keeping a log.
• Track and monitor vehicle maintenance such as routine oil changes, windshield wiper changes, etc.
• Immediately report any damage to the vehicles and/or the need for mechanical attention.
• Administer and observe the organization’s office operations, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Educational, Required Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Required to have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Report check
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish desired.

• Prolonged periods of sitting
• Lift between 35-45 lbs. as needed
