Maintenance Ambassador / Driver / Equipment Operator Commercial District Services LLC Montclair, NJ 07042 Please be advised that this is a fully outdoor job. There is no indoor aspect to this particular position and all work related duties are performed outdoors. We work in all weather including rain and snow, hot and cold. Proper uniforms will be provided by the company at no cost to the employee. 95% of this job is sanitation. This is a public facing job and requires the individual to be professional, warm, courteous and friendly to the people of Montclair Center as well as to your colleagues. We love to hire locally so if you live in or near Montclair and you have customer service experience, a clean driver license and sanitation / maintenance experience and you love working outdoors then this is the job for you! This is a hands-on, fully outdoor position responsible for:

• Litter removal from public areas, sidewalks, curb-lines and parking lots using manual tools and equipment.
• Picking up illegal dumping, bulk and trash from the sidewalks and transporting it safely to dump at the DPW.
• Maintenance of public amenity and utility infrastructure including graffiti, poster and sticker removal from telephone boxes, light poles, benches, trash cans and building facades. The removal of grease, stains and gum from sidewalks using pressure washers.
• Painting light poles, public utilities, mail boxes, walls and roll-down gates.
• Landscape maintenance and planting, watering, trimming and cutting bushes, shrubs and weeds.
• Weed inhibition on sidewalks and around plantings.
• Watering plantings through the use of hoses and a mobile watering unit and fire hydrant connection.
• Set-up and takedown of outdoor dining equipment including tables, tents, chairs and umbrellas.
• Provide support for special events including set-up and breakdown, placement of signage and barricades, and general support duties.
• Assist pedestrians with questions and inquiries.
