Material Handler / Turret driver Choice Staffing Agency Dayton, NJ 08810 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler & Turret driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center. This position involves handling materials, loading and unloading products, and ensuring that inventory is accurately managed. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential to succeed in this role.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm (OT when needed)

Pay Rate:

$18 per hour (time and half for OT hours) Duties Must Operate a Turret, Reach, Cherry/Order Picker and Reach Truck! Load and unload products from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling of materials. Accurately pick orders based on customer specifications and prepare them for shipment. Maintain organization within the warehouse by properly storing materials and managing inventory levels. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols at all times while performing heavy lifting tasks. Qualifications Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Familiarity with material handling equipment such as Swing Reach and Turret. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly, with an emphasis on safety practices. Must Operate a Turret, Reach, Cherry/Order Picker ! Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory management. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
