Overview:

Interstate Waste Services is looking for a Full- TimeCDL Class A or B Roll Off Drivers out of their Yonkers, NYFull-Time Monday thru Friday.

Start time:

4am – 5am. Our driversaverage about 50-55 hours a week. Overtime pay after 40 hours in awork week. Full Union- paid amazing benefit package.

Pay Rate:

Essential Job Functions:

Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able toperform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties maybe assigned.: Assist in planning route to ensure most economicaluse of time and equipment Perform all duties in accordance withappropriate safety and security standards Perform daily Pre &Post-Trip inspections of your vehicle Maintain cleanliness ofvehicle. Report all mechanical issues immediately, to SupervisorConform with, and abide by, all regulations, policies, workprocedures and instructions Conform to all safety policies and useall appropriate safety equipment & PPE Complete and submitnecessary daily paperwork Maintain a clean & valid driver’s licenseMaintain safe vehicle operation, to protect your safety, and thesafety of the public, by complying with company policies ≺ocedures, as well as DOT regulations Other duties as assigned by

Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications:

: Must have a validdriver’s license and be a minimum of 21 years of age Must beproperly licensed to operate the type of unit, (e.g., CDL A or Bwith air brakes) for which they are applying, for a minimum of 2years Ability to pass DOT mandated, drug/alcohol tests Ability topass pre-employment fit-for-duty evaluation Thorough knowledge oflocal traffic laws and defensive driving techniques Ability tosafely operate various types of refuse vehicles Ability toestablish and maintain effective relationships with employees,supervisors and the general public Ability to communicateeffectively, as well as work independently
