job title: CDL-A Part Time local truck driver $30/hr. 2 to 4 days a week CDL class A part time truck driver needed for construction jobsite deliveries throughout NJ, with some PA and NY state. No NYC. Typical day starts at 6AM from Wayne, NJ. You will be driving a straight truck or tractor trailer (single axle daycab, 10 speed) depending on size of shipment. Deliveries are to constructions sites, and Job Sites with their own crew to unload, no manual labor or unloading is required of the driver. The only handling required of driver is to sometimes gather small nets, tarps and load locks and throw them in the truck when empty. Driver delivers material and returns to Wayne, NJ for another shipment or to end the day. Days can be as short as a few hours or up to 8 hours long. You are guaranteed 4.00 hours pay for the day if you work less. Workload is very sporadic. Some weeks will be busy, some will not, you cover what you can, when you are available. This job does not offer full time hours. If you are looking for 40 hours a week, please do not respond. You must live near Wayne, NJ. This is a casual type arrangement. When I have work for the next day I will call you, if you are available, great! If not, I understand that to. This is a great position for retired truckers looking to make extra money, or for drivers that may have days off during the week. All deliveries are within 100 mile radius of Wayne, NJ. No piers. No touch freight. No 5 boroughs

NY Pay Structure:

(NO CASH) $30/hr. Overtime rate of $45/hr. for any time worked prior to 6:00AM. (sometimes we have early starts) Overtime rate of $45/hr. for any time worked on a Saturday. (Rare and Optional) Direct Deposit.

Requirements:

Must be able to drive a manual 10-speed transmission. Valid and current class A CDL with no accidents or suspensions. Valid and current D.O.T. Medical Card 5 years of verifiable semi driving experience (MUST
