Driver Delicato Transport, LLC Moving & Storage 51 Us Highway 206, Augusta, NJ 07822 Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of vehicles and will be responsible for safely transporting goods to designated locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. Duties Operate 26′ and 24′ straight trucks. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of Househould Goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and any incidents that may occur during transport. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns during transit. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist with moving operations as needed, ensuring that all items are transported securely and safely. Requirements Valid driver’s license (non-CDL) DOT medical card required. Proven experience in driving various vehicles such as flatbeds, straight trucks, tow trucks, or heavy haul trucks. Familiarity with Household Goods handling and transportation regulations. Strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance procedures. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with moving items. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. A clean driving record with no major violations in the past few years.
