Driver/Operator/Laborer Midhurst Tree Care Sussex, NJ 07461 Overview We are a small tree service looking for a driver, who can operate equipment and perform ground operations. Most of the operations are mechanized with only a few manual task. Duties Operate various types of vehicles including dump trucks, skid steers, excavator. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling techniques as necessary. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) class A Familiarity with various types of trucks including dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Excellent navigation skills with a good understanding of local roadways. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate logs and ensuring cargo safety. Pay based on qualifications.
