Yard Driver-DICP Position Available In Chautauqua, New York

The qualified candidate must maintain all DOT Federal and State qualifications and regulations while moving transport equipment between production facilities and/or third-party warehouses. The candidate will ensure the company yard truck and trailers are kept in safe working order by conducting required pre-trip inspections and washing the shag truck and trailers as needed. You will be responsible for the safety and security of company equipment as well as all ingredients and packaging raw materials loaded on this equipment to support the production plan. Successful candidate will communicate with third party warehouse personnel and Wells Enterprises warehouse/plant personnel to indicate when/where trailers are located. Records all trailer movements. Records all yard truck and trailer mileage on a scheduled basis. Moves tankers when required to do so. Keep the yard neat, clean bays and advise on the conditions of bays and they yard tractor. Other Duties as assigned. The base pay range for this position is $27.04 per hour, plus shift premium of $1.25 per hour. This pay represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time Hours Monday thru Friday with occasional weekends.
