Clean Harbors in Germantown, WI is seeking a Class A CDL Driver(Equipment Operator) to operate a variety of heavy and light dutytrucks/work equipment at our customer sites; some of the vehiclesoperated include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs.
This role is responsible for performing driving and non-drivingduties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous wasteclean-up. Up to 10% overnight travel, hotel and per diem providedHazmat and Tanker endorsements required, no auto restriction Mondaythrough Friday schedule, average start time 6 am Typically, a40-60-hour work week, overtime after 40 hrs. Focus on maintaining sustainabilityand cleaning the Earth Pay range $26-28 per hour Comprehensivehealth benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employmentincluding 401K with Company match Own part of the company with ourEmployee Stock Purchase Plan Opportunities for growth anddevelopment for all the stages of your career Company paid trainingand tuition reimbursement Ensure Health and Safety is the numberone priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies,and processes and always acting in a safe manner Operate commercialtrucks and assist field laborers when needed (team atmosphere whereeveryone helps) Operate a variety of Class A trucks Loading andunloading of trucks Manual labor on site to ensure fulfillment ofcustomer needs Proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company andDOT requirements/regulations Maintain daily logs, time sheets, andvarious reports Follow all local, state (provincial) and federalcompliance regulations and rules Safely operate vehicles inaccordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federalrequirements Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines andprocedures Observe all company environmental health and safetyoperating guidelines Performs other duties as assigned By position,ability to be on call for emergency response on rotating basisevery other week By position, site-remediation, equipmentdecontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials ValidClass A CDL Hazmat and Tanker endorsements Ability to operate amanual transmission Ability to use various mobile devices Performphysical functions per job requirements Successfully complete abackground check, drug test, and physical, by position Per OSHA’sRespiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees inpositions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hairstandards.
