POSITION OVERVIEW
The Trolly driver will be responsible for transportation of Museum visitors throughout the Museum campus in a safe and timely manner.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive tractor with modified trailer attached making stops throughout the Museum letting passengers on and off. Ensure safety of all passengers and visitors. Assist with boarding and off-boarding of passengers, particularly those using the lift gate on the rear of the trailer. Check trolley tractor for fuel, fluid levels and oil each morning. Inspect trolley daily for safety hazards and tire pressure. Report mechanical difficulties to the museum mechanic. Monitor the condition of trolley route for potholes, low branches and other hazards. Maintain a polite manner while interacting with visitors and other Museum staff. Responsible for providing information and answering visitor questions on the Museum’s facilities and its daily events.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications :
Clean NYS Driver’s License Ability to work a flexible schedule Experience driving heavy machinery a plus.
