Truck Driver Nine Ten Construction & Excavation Inc Spencerport, NY 14559 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle diverse types of freight. The Truck Driver will operate different types of vehicles, including , dumpster trailer, trailers, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all regulations. Responsibilities Operate and drive various types of trucks, Load and unload Dumpsters. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times while adhering to traffic regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport. Ensure that cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and compliance. Experience Familiarity with operating trailers is a must. Experience in route driving with a strong understanding of freight handling. Previous experience with flatbed operations is a plus. Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. Knowledge of safety regulations related to transportation and freight handling.
