The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations efficiently and safely, including our Long Island office.

Qualifications:

. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record . Able to drive commercial vehicle CDL not required but considered . Knowledge of Construction materials and tools to pull orders for delivery to miscellaneous job sites . Organize and restock materials returned from job sites . Keep track of tools log and tool disbursement . Able to communicate with the project supervisor . Keep track of vehicle service schedules •Submit your resume if your qualifications apply•

Summary:

As Construction Company Driver/Material Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. Maintain an open channel of communication with the projects supervisors while organizing and restocking materials to and from job sites and keeping track of the vehicles’ service schedules and other requirements.

Responsibilities:

. Safely operate vehicles such as trucks and vans to deliver goods to projects’ sites . Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items . Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency . Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers and team members . Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks . Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times . Inventory and organization of stockroom . Long lead items tracking . Pick-up and deliveries
