Job Description
Construction Driver B.C. Mechanical, INC. New York, NY 10003 BC General Contractors, Inc. is a General Contractor specializing in commercial buildings & Projects in the Metro-NY area. We are currently looking to hire a Driver The Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials, equipment, and sometimes personnel to job sites in a company provided vehicle. This includes loading, unloading, and maintaining vehicles, as well as adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Transportation:
Transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to and from construction sites.
Vehicle Operation and Maintenance:
Operating and maintaining the delivery vehicle in safe and efficient condition, including performing regular maintenance checks and repairs.
Loading and Unloading:
Loading and unloading materials and equipment from the vehicle.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
Safety:
Adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Assisting with
Manual Labor:
Helping with various manual labor tasks on the job site, such as loading and unloading materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license. Clean driving record. Experience driving a delivery truck or similar commercial vehicle. Familiarity with traffic laws and safety regulations. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment. Basic math and record-keeping skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual a plus!
Job Type:

$20.00 – $28.00 per hour
