job title: Driver De Janeiro is looking for a Driver to begin work immediately. This employee would go through our daily route doing deliveries in the company truck (it’s a small truck, just over 10,000 lbs.). Any candidates would need to have a valid driver’s license to be considered. This job entails going to each one of our Manhattan store locations, along with the driver’s helper. The job starts at 7:30 AM and ends at 4:00 PM (or earlier if part-time is preferred). Starting wage is $16.50 per hour, with opportunities for overtime down the road.

Daily Rundown:

You and the driver’s helper will begin the route at 7:30 AM. At each store location, you will help the driver’s helper with the boxes for that store location. Once all the boxes for that store have been delivered, you and the driver’s helper will then take all incoming transfer boxes, cardboard, and trash bags that the store has to give you. You will repeat this at every location throughout the route. When the route is finished, you will return to the warehouse, unload the trash and cardboard on the curb, and load up the truck for the following day. On busy days, you may be asked to stay in the warehouse to help out packing and taping the boxes for a bit.

• Must have a driver’s license.
• Must come on time.
• Must be able to get along with people.
• Must be able to lift heavy boxes
• Must avoid getting any tickets Principals only.
