Truck Driver/Equipment Operator C.R.White Tree & Landscape LLC. Warners, NY 13164 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential. Responsibilities Operate trucks in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load cargo as needed, utilizing an excavator. Excavator experience a must. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Ensure that all cargo is secured properly before transport to prevent damage during transit. Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and best practices in truck driving. Experience Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Familiarity with operating various types of trucks, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, dump trucks. Experience in load unloading processes and safe handling of freight. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and the ability to perform basic repairs when necessary. Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past few years. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
