Roll Off Driver Empire Recycling RJH Inc. Clifton Springs, NY 14432 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and debris from various job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Roll Off Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations while ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties Operate roll-off trucks, hook-lift trucks in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Safely load and unload containers at designated locations while ensuring proper securing of loads. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Manage delivery schedules effectively to meet customer needs while adhering to timelines. Communicate with dispatchers and other team members regarding job status and any issues that may arise during transport. Assist in heavy lifting and manual handling of containers as required during loading and unloading processes. Maintain cleanliness of the truck and equipment, ensuring they are presentable for operations. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role is preferred. Familiarity with operating heavy-duty vehicles such as dump trucks, front loader trucks, or tractor-trailers is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for performing basic maintenance tasks on vehicles. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is required. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on the road is essential.
