Heavy lifter/Driver Bell Exports Corp. 8618 Union Tpke, Glendale, NY 11385 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver and Heavy Lifter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to navigate various routes effectively. Duties Operate vehicles such as vans, box trucks, for transportation of Furniture. Execute route driving and ensuring timely arrivals at destinations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with managers, and team members regarding schedules and any issues that may arise. Assist in loading and unloading Furniture as needed, including heavy haul tasks. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle to uphold company standards. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. (DRIVER) Experience as a van driver, box truck driver or in similar roles is preferred. Familiarity with route planning and navigation systems. Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. A commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring the safety of cargo. $120.00 – $250.00 per day
