ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive andoperate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to loadand unload containers at customer sites in a safe manner byfollowing all safety rules Perform and log daily pre and post tripinspections of commercial vehicle and lift Accept add-on deliveriesas required to meet business needs Use company handheld computerfor delivery verification and navigation Operate a forklift and/oran overhead crane Clean and inspect containers to ensure they arepresentable for delivery to customer Coordinate rental paperworkand payment with the customer Communicate with the Driver Lead orMarket Manager on customer questions and/or issues; Prepare drivernotes as needed Perform repairs of containers and lifts in thefield and at the storage center Provide backup for storage centerfunctions when needed Maintain cleanliness of truck cab (keep freefrom debris inside and outside) May perform other duties andresponsibilities as assigned

Pay Range:

26.00-26.00 per_hour,

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma orequivalent Valid CDL Class B License Required without air brakerestriction Must maintain a current/valid driver license Must meetPODS Driver Qualification Standards Must be at least 21 years ofage (insurance requirement) Possess a valid Medical Examiner’sCertificate or ability to obtain a minimum of a 1 yearcertification (DOT requirement) Hands on experience with electronicequipment and software preferred Possess math skills sufficient toperform required duties Or an equivalent combination of education,training or experience Ability to attend required 2-week New HireDriver Training Program

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to frequentlyremain in stationary position for driving CMV or operating forkliftAbility to frequently ascend/descend cab of truck and forkliftusing three points of contact Ability to frequently move about andposition self frequently to operate equipment and delivercontainers Ability to occasionally move boxes weighing up to 50 lbsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include closevision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus; strong senseof spatial relations to park vehicle and negotiate tight spaces.

Ability to frequently use hands to write, use computer, operate amotor vehicle, operate equipment, use handheld device, andmanipulate documents Ability to regularly apply up to 40 pounds ofpressure using a variety of motions including, but not limited to,pushing, pulling and lifting Frequently required to read documentsand write neatly, legibly and transcribe accurate informationAbility to frequently communicate and exchange information withmanager, co-workers and customers

WORKING CONDITIONS

Shift starttimes may vary; Some additional hours may be required includingSaturdays/Sundays; Required to work overtime as needed.

Travelrequirements:

Within Location Territory Storage centers may not beclimate controlled except for specific areas. Regularly worksaround moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions thatinclude inclement weather, heat and humidity. Noise level may beloud at times.
