Driver/Mover Position Available In Suffolk, New York

Driver/Mover Zippboxx Moving and Storage Bohemia, NY 11716 Zippboxx is looking for a Driver & Mover to join our growing team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, assisting with loading/unloading, and providing a positive experience for our clients.

Job Description:

As a Driver & Mover , you will: Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations, including Long Island, New York State, and even long distances (up to Florida). Assist with loading and unloading furniture, household goods, and other belongings. Navigate efficiently to various destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure a smooth, efficient moving process. Perform furniture assembly and disassembly as needed to meet customer requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and equipment. Always maintain a polite, professional, and well-mannered attitude.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s License for a minimum of 2 years with a clean driving record (we do look at the date on your driver’s license Must be 21+ to be a driver Willingness to drive locally on Long Island and long distances (as far as Florida). Work weekends as needed. Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture and household goods. Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset. A positive, upbeat attitude, with a focus on providing exceptional service. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
