Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Non-CDL Driver to join our delivery team. The ideal candidate must have a strong working knowledge of Long Island, NY roadways, including major highways, local streets, and traffic patterns. This position involves operating a company box truck vehicle to safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers and company sites. This is a great opprotunity for someone looking to obtain their CDL License.
salary:
$40,000 – $44,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM – 4

Safely operate a box truck, cargo van, or similar non-CDL vehicle to deliver and pick up goods across Long Island. Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS systems while being familiar with traffic patterns, and alternate routes in Long Island. Load and unload products, ensuring they are handled with care and properly secured. Verify delivery documentation, obtain customer signatures, and complete delivery logs. Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness. Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and team members. Comply with all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company safety policies.
