Driver Responsibilities Include:

The primary goal of our drivers isto ensure that we are providing safe, efficient and effectivetransportation for students. Performs maintenance and inspectionsof Center’s facilities and systems to ensure functionality andprevent disruption of student and staff services. Completes, tracksand documents work status and notifies supervisor of issues andconcerns. Provides students with timely and efficient studenttransportation services as required. Maintains appropriate vehicledocumentation per DOL/Company requirements. Schedules and deliversvehicles for preventive maintenance and repairs as necessary.

Provide transportation to students to/from Center. Assists theSafety & Security department to maintain a safe and secure Centerenvironment. Responsible for Center security, visitor control andstudent accountability.

Qualifications Driver QualificationsInclude:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanceddegrees preferred. Prefer previous experience working with youth.

Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License intheir residing state and meet Company insurability requirements.

Passenger Endorsement is required or able to acquired within areasonable time frame. Physical requirements include sitting,standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing,carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates theability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the liftload in order to ask for necessary assistance.
