Professional Mover/Driver Busy B-line Movers and Carriers New Paltz, NY 12561 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with moving tasks, ensuring that items are delivered safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, route driving, and familiarity with warehouse operations. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Communicate with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel usage. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience with route driving and familiarity with local roadways. Previous experience in moving or athletic background is advantageous. Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated.
