Seasonal Driver Treadlight Farm Kerhonkson, NY 12446 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting cut-flowers and plants safely and efficiently to various locations in NYC, Westchester and the Hudson valley. This role requires a strong focus on safety and punctuality while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Duties Operate vehicles for the purpose of delivering goods and materials to designated locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while maintaining adherence to delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with owners regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Handle any required paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and receipts. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is highly desirable. Familiarity with route driving and navigating local roads effectively. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Physical ability to lift heavy items as needed during loading and unloading processes.
