Job Description
Patient Transport Driver 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 7007 York Road, Abbottstown, PA 17301 Innovo Detox offers a calming, healing environment to support our patient’s safety and well-being at our secluded, state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Pennsylvania. We believe that every client deserves dignity, compassion and respect throughout the alcohol detox or drug detox experience. Innovo Detox is looking to hire a driver to transport patients to our facility for treatment and from our facility to aftercare providers. At this time, we are looking to speak with candidates who are interested in both part-time and full-time opportunities. Driver will be responsible for practicing safe driving techniques and obeying all traffic laws. Driver will be responsible for providing comfortable transportation for all patients and ensuring that they arrive safely and on schedule. Driver will provide reassurance when needed to patients in an effort to reduce any anxiety that the patients may have during transportation. Driver must maintain knowledge of Innovo Detox’s program to be able to answer basic questions that patients or family may having during pick up. Driver will be responsible for keeping the company vehicle properly cleaned and stocked with needed items.
Job Requirements:
Must have a Driver’s License in good standing and meet the organizations driving criteria for coverage under our insurance. High School degree or equivalent Ability to read, write and comprehend verbal instructions Must be willing to work nights and weekends and be ready to mobilize on short notice Must be comfortable driving in all conditions including at night, during inclement weather, and in inner-city locations 5 years of driving experience, preferred.
