Position Overview :

Glass Enterprises is seeking a skilled and dependable Boom Truck Driver to join our team for regional glass and aluminum deliveries. As a Boom Truck Driver , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of glass and aluminum products to our customers. This position requires a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) and involves operating a boom crane. Responsibilities :

Safely and efficiently transport glass and aluminum products to various locations within the designated region. Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and company regulations. Secure glass and aluminum products onto the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques, including use of a boom crane. Ensure proper documentation and completion of delivery paperwork. Interact professionally with customers and jobsite personnel, providing exceptional customer service and representing Glass Enterprises in a positive manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and its equipment to ensure safe operation. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, including the proper handling and securing of fragile glass and aluminum materials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and its cargo area. Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize route efficiency. Assist with unloading products at customer sites when necessary, ensuring accuracy and quality control.

Requirements :

Valid Class B or higher CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) Familiarity with operating a boom crane. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry product. Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving practices. Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently while also being a team player. Flexibility to adapt to changing delivery schedules or routes. Basic knowledge of paperwork and documentation related to transportation and delivery.
