DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIESThe Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our dealers, distribution centers, residential customers and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. This is an OTR during the week and some Sundays may be required based on business needs.

Complete all assigned delivery routes. Driver will deliver to construction jobsites and is responsible for offloading productAddress customer questions, issues and concerns in a professional and timely fashionRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times in both actions and personal appearanceComplete all delivery and return documentation accurately and legiblyMaintain driver logs and inspectionsMaintain equipment in a neat, clean and organized conditionUphold all safety practices according to safety handbook and DOT regulationsLoad and unload trucks and assist others with loading and unloadingQualificationsValid CDL A driver’s license with a clean driving recordMust be DOT compliant2 years of previous tractor-trailer driving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, read road signs, maintain logs, etcWilling to tarp and strap flatbed loadsOperate trailer mounted forkliftAbility to handle 60lbs bundlesMulti-drop delivery experience a plusAbility to work independently or with a teamAbility to plan and manage time efficientlyAbility to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditionsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
