⚐ ⚑ ⚑ $5k per trip – Driver to transport shipping container to California compensation: Negotiable employment type: job title: Driver for a few trips I am looking for someone to transport a few shipping containers in New Kensington PA and drive them to CA. The containers are 20 feet – prefer someone who has a bit more on their trailer to transit a small forklift too. It requires a heavy duty truck and trailer to bring them to CA. Looking for someone with a reasonable price. There will be multiple trips. I will pay for the gas. They should be the owners of the truck and trailer. I will pay compensation based on miles from New Kensington to Hayward CA. $5k total pay each way. That is $1.5 per mile. If you have USDOT number and carry cargo insurance then great, I can reflect that on the pay. General cargo, no hazmat or anything refrigerated/organic.
