SUMMARY OF POSITION

Kinsley Materials is seeking multiple experienced Tri-Axle Drivers to join our growing team. The drivers will be responsible for hauling construction materials such as: sand, dirt, gravel, rocks and paving materials, among other aggregates, from one location to another. Previous experience driving a Tri-Axle is preferred by not required. Successful candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A or B driver’s license, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Drive trucks equipped with dump bed hauling loose construction materials from one location to another as instructed. Materials may include sand, dirt, gravel, rocks, and paving materials, among other aggregates. Comply with all federal and state commercial driving rules and regulations. Maintain driving log/records according to state and federal regulations. Secure all loads according to state and federal regulations. Complete pre-post trip vehicle inspection reports. Clearly communicate with equipment operators and other truck drivers, ensuring materials are delivered according to the job specifications and timetables. Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures. Must spray truck surfaces with protective compound to prevent adherence of certain materials. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B. Must have and maintain clean driving record (MVR) Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol testing. Must be able be able to drive a manual transmission. Understand and follow oral and written instructions. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and those contacted in the course of work. Must have reliable transportation to get to dispatch office. Must be reliable to get to work on time. Required dress includes safety toed shoes, PPE, shirt with minimum 3″ sleeves, long pants.
