The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tankers. This role requires a commitment to delivering goods efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Perform routine inspections on trucks before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck, including reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in truck driving with knowledge of various truck types such as refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, and delivery vehicles. Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures for different types of cargo. Forklift certification is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
