In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and debris from various job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial driving and mechanical knowledge, ensuring efficient loading, unloading, and maintenance of equipment. Responsibilities Operate roll-off trucks, including rear loader and front loader trucks, to transport materials to designated locations. Load and unload containers using appropriate equipment and techniques. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Manage the safe handling of waste materials while adhering to environmental guidelines. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including load weights and disposal locations. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed during loading and unloading processes. Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with operating various types of trucks, including dump trucks and tractor-trailers. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required for this position.
