The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently within designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. As a Local Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Duties $27/hr, OT after 40, 7AM start time to finish, Monday- Saturday Schedule (1 day off midweek), delivering containers to customer locations, No Touch, containers are unloaded w/ a Podzilla (hydraulic lift), https://www.pods.com/resource-center/container-delivery-requirements will be required to block/level truck prior to unloading Execute route driving responsibilities, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all local traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Skills 3 months of verified experience in class B CDL commercial driving with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Strong route driving skills with an emphasis on time management and efficiency. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety regulations and delivery accuracy.
