Summary:
Operates the local transportation van that is used by members and guests to go to and from the cottage in Blue Gray Estates or go into town to restaurants and hotels within a 10 miles radius of the club. It also includes transportation to and from Lady’s Island Airport.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Keeps the company vehicles clean of all debris and if you have mechanical problems report them to the Direct of Accommodations or Equipment Manager Maintains vehicle log Turns on Clubhouse porch lights at dusk Locks the Caddy Shack at night Maintains supplies in the company vehicles such as transportation cards, vehicle logs Does not allow any smoking or open containers of alcohol allowed in the company vehicles Assists F&B as needed.
Example:
walking the porch and patio to pick up empty glasses, plates, napkins, empty dirty ash trays Allows people through the gates that forgot their code based upon agreed procedures Assists with opening cottages if there is a last-minute rental Other duties as assigned
