Night Shift | 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM STS Technical Services is hiring Fuel Technicians for night shift operations in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Position Summary As a Fuel Technician, you will be responsible for safely delivering petroleum products to various port terminals using company-owned tankers and fuel storage systems. The role requires a safety-first mindset, strong customer service skills, and the physical ability to manage fueling equipment. You’ll play a critical part in maintaining fluid operations across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Deliver petroleum products using tanker trucks and stationary fuel storage systems Operate fueling equipment, including pumps, hoses, nozzles, and mobile tanker units Conduct accurate accounting and reporting using mobile devices and paperwork Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Report equipment deficiencies promptly to supervisors or management Respond quickly to fuel or fluid spills in accordance with company safety protocols Maintain fuel trucks and work areas in a clean and organized condition Assist with other operational duties as needed and support cross-training initiatives Work independently or as part of a team to meet operational demands Required Qualifications Valid driver’s license Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to consistently work the night shift (9:00 PM – 5:00 AM) Able to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly Comfortable using basic hand tools for equipment maintenance Reliable attendance and a safety-conscious attitude Willingness to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times Preferred Qualifications TWIC card in possession CDL Class A or B with tanker and/or hazmat endorsement Previous experience in the fueling or petroleum industry Strong communication and leadership skills Benefits & Perks Competitive hourly pay Steady night shift schedule with consistent hours Hands-on training and cross-training opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage 401(k) retirement plan Paid holidays and vacation time About STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with some of the largest names in the aerospace, industrial, defense, and manufacturing industries.
