Lowboy/ Transport Driver Three Oaks Contractors, Inc. Ravenel, SC 29470 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lowboy/Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to designated site locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition. Duties Operate various types of trucks including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to scheduled delivery times. Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes and any issues that may arise during transport. Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL). Experience with route driving and freight handling is highly desirable. Knowledge of loading/unloading procedures for various types of cargo. Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving.
