Patient Transport Driver Cheraw Post Acute Cheraw, SC 29520 • Hybrid work Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle a organized transport schedule Duties Safely operate vehicles. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as addressing any inquiries or concerns during transit. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior while conducting daily and weekly inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, particularly when loading or unloading passengers. Communicate effectively with other team members regarding schedules, routes, and any potential delays. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts. Report all accidents and incidents you observe. Report all changes in residents’ conditions to Nurse Supervisors. Follow all HIPPA Laws. Must know and follow all Resident Rights. Skills CPR/BLS Certification required. Clean driving record required. Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all passengers. Experience in transport van driving or similar transportation roles is required. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with passengers and team members. Capability to handle heavy lifting as required during passenger assistance.
