Katie Dr, Latta, SC 29565 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks, to transport freight efficiently and safely. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Operate and drive trucks, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and any incidents or delays. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailer and dump truck operations. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of delivery driver responsibilities and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
