Do:

Full time position Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm to 12 am,earning $22/hr plus excellent benefits including health, 401K, paidholidays, and paid time off. Operate a yard jockey truck or CDL A tractor to move trailersin and out of dock doors and to various locations in the yard. Chock rear wheels of vehicle prior to any loading or unloadingand remove same chocks prior to driving away. Operate trailer anddock doors and remove and/or installs safety devices as needed oras necessary. Report any maintenance needs or equipment malfunctions toappropriate supervisor and maintenance personnel. Report faultyequipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to appropriatesupervisor. Obtain and maintain necessary paperwork and relatedrecords, inventories product(s) as needed or as necessary, andlabels. Maintain a work area free and clear of loose debris, wood,plastic and other obstacles which may impede operations, and sweepwork area as needed or as necessary. Perform other driving and/orwarehouse-related duties as required or as requested.

WhatExperience You Need:

A minimum of one year working as a yard jockey, using a yardhorse and/or Class A commercial vehicle to move trailers in and outof dock doors and in the yard highly preferred. No conviction for driving while intoxicated or under theinfluence of drugs within the past five (5) years. No more than one (1) moving violation citation such as recklessdriving or speeding in excess of fifteen (15) miles above theposted speed limit within the previous twelve (12) months, and nomore than three (3) within the previous three (3) years.

What CouldSet You Apart:

Previous experience in the cold storage and food-relatedindustries. High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred.

PhysicalRequirements:

Demonstrated ability to sit for long periods of time in avehicle. Also must be able to repeatedly and quickly adjust vehiclecontrols to exact positions for several hours per day. Demonstrated manual dexterity and coordination of two (2) ormore limbs with normal movements while sitting, standing, or lyingdown. This does not involve performing the activities while thewhole body is in motion. Demonstrated ability to talk, hear, and see sufficiently tocomplete assigned tasks. Must be able to visually identify detailsfrom distances. May be required to carry loads related to travel andoccasionally lift, carry, position, or move objects weighing up tofifty (50) pounds. Demonstrated ability to relate to others beyond giving andreceiving instructions sufficient to partner with colleagueswithout exhibiting behavioral extremes. Demonstrated judgment skills sufficient to identify which ofseveral objects is closer or farther away and to accuratelyascertain distance between self and other objects. Demonstrated ability to tell when something is wrong or islikely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, onlyrecognizing there is a problem. Demonstrated ability to tolerate environments that may havetemperatures at or below freezing for extended periods of time.
