Litter Collection Crew Chief County of Lexington 212 South Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072
Job Description:
Manages the day to day operations of Litter Collection Crew to include training of personnel; prepare daily work schedules; identify equipment needs; schedule and assist with equipment repairs, and adhere to all County and department safety regulations. Walk along roadside picking up litter, trash and other materials to include TV’s mattresses, furniture, tires, etc.. Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Additional Job Requirements:
Complete daily work sheets, assist with special events, educate citizens on proper disposal of waste and operate equipment to include forklift, tommy lift gates, waste compactors and tow trailers. Minimum Education – High school diploma or equivalent, Supervisory experience. Minimum Qualification –
