Job Description:

Safley transport dray containers (standard and Hi-cube) and flat racks to and from the local ports and our warehouse to customers in the surrounding states. Regional runs will require being out for 1 to 2 days away from the “Home” terminal. Work independently with minimal supervision. Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an outdoor environment. In addition, must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure loads

Job Requirements:

Application Requirements Possess a valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s license issued by State of Domicile Possess a valid TWIC card. Current DOT Physical Minimum of 23 years of age No drug convictions or positive urinalysis in the past 5 years (can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, requires Vice-president of Transportation approval) No felonies the past 5 years (can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, requires Vice-president of Transportation approval) No more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years. No reckless or careless driving convictions in the past five (5) years No DUI’s in the past five (5) years No more than two (2) chargeable accidents in the past three (3) years No license suspensions Must be able to fluently read, write and speak the English language. Successful completion of Road Test Minimum of 1 year CDL experience Hiring radius of 50 miles from Columbia, SC Pass a pre-employment drug screening. Hazmat endorsement required within first 60 days of hire Experience with Containers preferred.

Wage Range:

24.00 – 27.25 per hour

General Description of Benefits:

Hourly rate is based on verifiable job experience with CDL-A Tractor and Trailer. Miles driven beyond 100 air miles will be paid by CPM.
