The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. This role requires proficiency in operating heavy equipment and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality. Duties Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to construction sites. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate material deliveries efficiently. Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including loaders and graders when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported. Adhere to all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment on construction sites. Assist in other heavy equipment operations as needed, including bulldozing, tanker operation, water truck usage, and grader operation. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in dump truck driving or similar heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices. Ability to perform basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors. Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods. Previous experience operating loaders or graders is a plus but not mandatory.
