Compensation:

~$1,400 per month ($64 per night). Opportunities for raises based on performance/growth.

Contract Job, Part-time.

Start Date:

Opportunities available immediately.

Work Schedule:

Sunday-Thursday, 8pm start time; average 2 hours per night.

ALWAYS OFF ON FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees assignment of teams and communities in the local area. Reports directly to Area Operations Manager. Train new Porters on the following: Nightly door to door collection of residents trash within an assigned apartment community. Collection must begin and end at the designated times. Inspect and maintain trash compactors/dumpster, halls, stairs and floors. Document and report nightly (via smartphone app) all property and resident non-compliances, safety concerns, vehicle condition, and community arrival and departure times. Follow policies for code of conduct, safety, and uniform standards. Fill in as nightly Porter when/where needed. Perform periodic Quality checks / Audits of Team. Complete other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT

Management experience preferred. Valet Trash Collection experience preferred. Must have a pickup truck. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must currently have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Flexibility to work during nighttime hours. Must be available between 8pm and 12am. Ability to lift up to 60lbs. Ability to work outdoors and work/drive in all types and changing weather conditions. Ability to climb stairs, bend at the waist, bend at the knees, lift arms shoulder level, walk distances, and be exposed to disagreeable odors.
