Job Description
Yard Jockey 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 139 Price Farm Rd, Cowpens, SC 29330 CDL CLASS A Driver Needed for Yard Spotting 53′ Trailers on site moves. Need a Night Shift spotter. 42 Hour Weeks at $24/hr and Time and a Half Over 40 hours. Additional hours at $36/hr can be worked based on the site managers needs. Weekly pay is $1,032 before taxes every Friday by direct deposit for 42 hours work. No driving over the road and being away from home! The job will require moving an average of 25 trailers a shift with the truck.
Other duties include:
- moving jack stands
- tying trailer doors
- cranking landing gear
- performing visual 5th wheel inspections to confirm engagement of the tractor and trailer
- interacting with the customer and Tern Services, Inc. personnel
- performing yard checks
- various other duties The right candidate is in good physical shape with an active lifestyle.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1 year minimum recent experience spotting 53′ trailers in a spotting trucks such as Ottawa, Capacity, Tico tractors Class A CDL and Clean MVR No clearinghouse violations DOT drug screen required before start date Has a current DOT physical good for 1 year minimum. We can schedule a physical if yours is not current. Must be reliable and dependable. Arrive to work each day on time and no callouts.
