Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Local CDL-A Driver to join our team. As a Local CDL-A Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from our facility to various local destinations in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate and maneuver company vehicles, including tractor-trailers, in urban and suburban environments. Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations, ensuring on-time delivery. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record. Minimum 2 years of experience as a CDL-A driver. Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns. Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed. High school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual Preferred but not required
