RESPONSABILITIES
π Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance π Plan routes and meet delivery schedules π Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers π Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts π Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures π Collect and verify delivery instructions π Report defects, accidents or violations
REQUIREMENTS
β No moving or driving violations in the last 3 years β No accidents in the last 5 years β Must pass pre-employment drug screen β Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly β Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations β Valid truck driving license and OTR experience for at least 2 years
