What’s the opportunity: Drivers provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders. Drivers make pick-ups as necessary, performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. This individual must perform all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner and by performing the duties listed below.

What will you do:

Load and unload truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed. Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed Other duties will include but not limited to cycle counts, inventory, aiding fellow warehouse team members Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety guidelines and obeying traffic laws What you bring to the table: 1 to 2 years’ experience driving a commercial vehicle Must be able to manage basic Microsoft Outlook, checking emails, answering and sending emails Must be capable of checking emails and delivery schedules, daily Must possess a valid driver’s license Basic math: understand written procedures, write routine documents, and speak clearly; and understand multi-step written and oral instructions is required Basic knowledge of safe lifting practices and good driving practices What can DEX provide to you: Opportunity and career development In house training Company culture where we celebrate our team members A place where you can build a career, not just have a job The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature of work performed; the level of knowledge and skills typically required; and usual working conditions of this job.
