The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to navigate various routes, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and company policies. Perform manual transmission driving as required for specific vehicle types. Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of customer service. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning of all equipment. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Qualifications Proven experience as a Driver or in a similar role, preferably in courier or delivery services. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Experience operating box trucks and performing moving tasks is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines. Knowledge of safety regulations related to driving and material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
