Mesilla Valley Transportation is now hiring a Driver Recruiter in Nashville, TN! A Driver Recruiter is responsible for pursuing leads to increase the number of drivers needed for company fleets, matching the best candidates to MVT lanes and routes, and contributing to driver retention. They will work together with Operations teams by facilitating the transition of onboarding drivers to their new roles, addressing challenges drivers face during the transitional period, and ensuring drivers’ needs are met per company guidelines.
Key measures of success include:
Recruit at least 15 new drivers to the company each month. Recruited drivers remain with the company. Be recognized by team, peers, and drivers as key supporters. •We are looking for individuals who are available to work a flexible workweek which would include some weekend coverage •
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Previous Transportation experience (Preferred). Successful Sales or Recruiting experience (Required). Knowledge of regulations that pertain to driver hiring (Preferred). Competent user of MS Office/Windows. Mesilla Valley Transportation began in 1982 as a small independent fleet in the Southwest.
