Full Job Description Job:

We run about 25 trucks out of Nashville area. Most are early morning around 3:30 AM and finished by 7AM. Also have PM shifts 4PM

• 7:30 PM.

Each truck has a dedicated schedule. Morning shifts take the mail from the plant out to post office around Nashville. Evening shifts take mail from the post offices and deliver it back to the plant. 26 FT Box truck automatic late model equipment. Trucks run Monday-Saturday. Full time work will be available. Start out as relief 2-5 days per week.

Duties:

• Safely operate a 26 Foot Straight Truck
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe and efficient transportation
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working order
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
• Valid driver’s license (CDL)

Skills:

• Ability to safely load, secure, and unload various types of freight
• Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with regulations
