We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials such as gravel, dirt, or asphalt to construction sites, loading and unloading materials safely, and ensuring timely deliveries. You will operate our company-owned dump trucks in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Responsibilities:
- Transport materials to and from construction sites promptly.
- Safely load and unload materials using dump truck equipment.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Ensure all loads are secure and comply with weight regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a dump truck driver or similar role.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate and maintain dump truck equipment safely.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with dump truck operations in construction or related fields.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle maintenance.
- Class A combination experience.
