K/yr Job Summary:

Sysco has immediate jobopenings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safelyand efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manuallyunload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods,groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on anassigned route schedule. Our truck drivers build relationships witheach customer using their positive, friendly attitude and becomefamiliar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements 21 years of age. Must submit toa pre-employment background check and drug screen. License to drive- valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a cleandriving record. Ability to read and speak the English languagesufficiently to converse with the general public, to understandhighway traffic signs and signals in the English language, torespond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports andrecords. Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move productweighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 poundsrepeatedly. Flexibility – overtime as required, weekends andholidays as business needs require. Preferred Requirements 1 yearcustomer delivery experience preferred. 6 months hand cart/handtruck experience preferred. 6 months Food and Beverage experiencepreferred. 2 years consistent work history preferred.
